WHO CAN BE A MENTOR

Global Mentors is looking for youth in grades 10-12 who are:

  • Interested in learning how to become a mentor to others and create an impact in the world​

  • Good listeners, organized & responsible, and good communicators​

  • Passionate about self-development, goal-setting, health, etc.

​

*As a mentor, you will be provided with all the training and resources you need to acquire the skills you need to become a great mentor.

For Mentors: Programs

EXPECTATIONS OF A MENTOR

As a mentor, you will be responsible for:

  • Connecting with your mentees weekly (approximately 30 minutes), as well as preparing and leading the discussion topics. Mentee growth will be reflected through the progression of goals and topics.

  • Participating in the program for a duration of 6 months

​

  • Supporting your mentee and motivating them to accomplish their goals

​

  • Checking in with our program coordinators monthly, and regularly tracking your mentee’s progress
